How did he get them to pose?

Our freinds Bob and Howard love animals of all kinds. Dogs, guinea pigs, a cat , rabbits and chickens lead a pampered life at their house. Howard had Frances take this picture in honor of the 4th of July.The chickens are red, white and blue by their type names if not actual color. I think it is a great picture!
