Just what is Art Deco?
Okay, why was this so hard to do? I guess I just don't know anything about art deco. Designing this was a trial because I didn't know what it should look like. Executing it was difficult for some reason but, it is now finished and it kind of grows on me. Love,hate????

Lots of things get lumped together as Art Deco, so it's hard to know what's right and what's not. It's sort of a mix of architectural form and structure with the curves of Art Nouveau (Tiffany was Art Nouveau!). Not an easy look to create but I think you did a good job with your design. :-)
